Cherry Vanilla “Jelly” Donuts

Cherry Vanilla Jelly Donuts
Yield: 6

Ingredients
2.5 cups frozen cherries (12oz bag)
⅓ cup fresh squeezed orange juice (approximately 1 orange)
4 tablespoons grass-fed gelatin
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
⅛ teaspoon Himalayan sea salt 

Directions
  1. Add cherries and orange juice to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the cherries and orange juice, gelatin, vanilla, and salt to a high speed blender and process until smooth.
  3. Carefully pour into silicone donut mold on a baking tray or cutting board to keep flat. 
  4. Transfer to fridge and chill for 30-40 minutes. Remove from mold.
